My adventure begins when I leave Yellowknife on January 15, 2008.  I fly to Toronto where I have to attend C5PBA meetings before heading to Buenos Aires, Argentina on January 20.  I will be in Buenos Aires, probably taking day trips around the area, until January 25 when I fly to Ushuaia on  Tierra del Fuego where the cruise begins.  The cruise lasts until February 6 and, ice permitting, we will cross the Antarctic Circle sometime in the middle of the trip.  

Instead of returning to Buenos Aires I fly to Santiago, Chile where I will spend a week touring the area including a few days in the Atacama Desert. 

I return to Yellowknife (heaven and airlines willing),  on February 14 or 15.
